And the day got off to a quick (and profitable) start when SI QUE ES BUENA ($17.00) won, enabling those who followed my lead to cash a recommended $20 win ticket plus keying a $1 exacta that paid $36.60 that I also suggested playing five times. Total profit for the race: $303.00.
Fred W. Hooper (G3) at Gulfstream Park: This was the only race where I stubbed my toe, partly due to the late scratch of COAL FRONT, who I had used in exactas and trifectas, and partly due to my keying of COPPER TOWN, who finished off the board. Total loss for the race: ($26.00).
Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational (G1) at Gulfstream Park: The winning continued in this race with one of my recommended wagers being a $5 exacta box of BRICKS AND MORTAR and MAGIC WAND, which generated a total return of $151. Total profit for the race: $101.00.
Pegasus World Cup Invitational (G1) at Gulfstream Park: They say all good things most come to end, but boy, did I hate to see this exciting day end as I played my entire $50 allocated bankroll to win on CITY OF LIGHT. Total profit for the race: $95.00.
